COMAC EXPANDS INTO THE SUNSHINE STATE
COMAC Retail Property Group is proud to announce the expansion of its retail management services into the thriving Queensland market.
Whilst not something that was originally planned, the demand and ongoing new business meant that it was a fantastic opportunity to grow our business in Queensland.
COMAC has been project leasing with specific clients in Queensland for some time but we were predominantly servicing these clients from our Melbourne Head Office with regular onsite visits. However, having recently been appointed by Fort Street Capital to manage and lease three centres including Birkdale Fair, Northpoint Toowoomba and Noosa Village. This new partnership adds to the Sugarworld Shopping Centre in Cairns, which COMAC already manages on behalf of SCA Property Group.
Dedicated resources from within Queensland have now been appointed and we now have a team of six with potential for more. Ian McCosker, who spent two years in Perth working at Cockburn Gateway Shopping City for the Perron Group, wanted to return home and instantly saw the cultural fit and liked the challenge of establishing the new business. Ian heads up a dynamic team that typifies the COMAC vision and is keen to provide a superior service to our clients and further grow the business.
In addition to the new team, we are delighted to announce that COMAC will also now have a Queensland office located within the redeveloped Lutwyche Shopping Centre. Geographically it makes sense for us with easy access to the CBD as well as the major highways to access all the properties.
